Frequently asked questions
Shopify or WooCommerce — which is cheaper?
WooCommerce has no platform fee, so if you already have a WordPress site it is usually cheaper to run. Shopify costs a monthly subscription but does more for you. For a small catalogue the difference is rarely the deciding factor; how much time you will spend in the admin is.
Can you migrate an existing store?
Yes, in both directions. Products, customers and order history can move. We will tell you upfront what does not migrate cleanly — usually reviews and some third-party app data.
Do you handle product photography?
No, but we will tell you exactly what sizes and backgrounds you need, and set the store up so consistent images look good automatically.
What about Afterpay and Zip?
Both are straightforward to add. Worth checking their fees against your margin first — on low-margin products they can cost more than they add.
