Tap targets
Buttons and links big enough and far enough apart to hit with a thumb, including the phone number in the header.
Real load speed
Tested on throttled mobile data, not on office fibre. Images sized for the screen they land on.
No sideways scroll
A single overflowing element makes the whole page slide. It is the most common mobile bug we find on other people's sites.
Forms on a phone
Correct keyboards for email and phone fields, labels that stay visible, and errors you can actually read.
Readable text
No pinching. Sensible line lengths and a size that works at arm's length.
The small screen too
Checked down to 360px wide, which is still a very common phone.

Google indexes the mobile version
Mobile-first indexing means the mobile version of your site is the one that gets ranked. If it is weaker, that is the one being judged.
Slow pages lose people before they load
The drop-off between a fast and a slow mobile page is steep, and it happens before anybody sees your offer.

Bigger tap targets, readable text and sensible contrast are also what make a site usable for people with low vision or unsteady hands.

Do you charge extra for a mobile version?
No. There is no separate mobile site — one responsive build serves every screen, and it is included in every tier.
Can you fix an existing site's mobile problems?
Usually, yes, and often for far less than a rebuild. We will look at it and tell you which it needs.
What about tablets?
Covered. Tablets are usually the easiest case; phones are where the real constraints are.
Do you test on real devices?
Yes, alongside browser tools. Emulators miss touch behaviour and real network conditions.
